Charity Bonfire – Saturday 7th November 2015 from 6pm

Saturday 7th November 2015 sees Harrogate Round Table back for their 44th successive year as organisers of the 2015 Charity Bonfire. This year is shaping up to be the best yet! Being one of the few remaining bonfire events where an entry fee is not charged, Harrogate Round Table are reliant on the generosity of the public on the evening to donate as much as they can afford to this years supported charity.

We always try to ensure a warm family feel where everyone can watch the display in safety. You sense a real community spirit and it’s great to see so many families enjoying the event.

Special thanks to HACS, Belzona and Skipton Hire Company for their support

Text to Donate

Entry to the bonfire is FREE OF CHARGE. All we ask is that you donate as much as you can afford towards our chosen charity. You can make your donation on the night, or in advance using your mobile phone.

Simply text: HARR15 followed by the amount you wish to donate to 70070

Nominate a Charity

We’re always on the lookout for local, good causes to support. The bonfire charities have already been choosen for 2015. However, we run a number of other events throughout the year. If you would like to nominate a charity then please email Rob on with details.

Approx. Event Timings:

  • Stray FM Build Up from 6pm
  • Bonfire Lit – 6:30pm
  • Fireworks – 7.15pm

Directions & Parking

The bonfire is held on the grassy area known as the Stray directly to the south of the Empress pub which is HG1 4SP – click here to see in google maps. There is limited parking in the immediate vicinity so the area is likely to be highly congested.

If you want to avoid being sat in lengthy queues, we strongly recommend leaving your vehicle in the town centre (free parking after 6pm) and walking from there which is only around 15 mins, or take public transport where possible. Why not make an evening of it by having a bite to eat in one of the many local award winning restaurants?
