Voluntary Organisations Serving Harrogate and District

Harrogate Lions club is one of over 700 clubs in the UK dedicated to providing a service to their local community. We are affiliated to Lions Clubs International , a world-wide organisation of Lions Clubs which began in 1917 and is both non-political and non-sectarian. Harrogate Lions Club was formed in 1954.

Knaresborough Lions is a group of like minded men from all walks of life who undertake welfare activities and raise money to provide help to those people in the community who are less fortunate than ourselves. We believe in good fellowship and that a sense of humour is an essential ingredient when helping others.

Rotary Club of Harrogate is an organisation of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world.

Knaresborough Rotary Club meet at 6pm every Monday at the Nidd Hall Hotel.

Rotary Club of Ripon meet at 1230 for 1255 on Tuesdays  (We also meet in the evening on a 5th Tuesday of a month. 7pm for 7:30pm (Dinner)) at Unicorn Hotel, Ripon.
